Armour School, located on an eleven-acre park site in the heart of the Bridgeport area contains two school buildings for children kindergarten age to 8th grade. The park, completed in the fall of 2001, includes two playgrounds complete with soft surfacing, a running track, and a multi purpose playing area. Community members may reflect in the garden area located at the southeast area of the park where decorative benches are located. Ornamental metal fencing and lighting compliment the ambience of the park. All playground equipment and drinking fountains are easily accessible by disabled Chicagoans. Come out and enjoy this beautiful new campus park today.
