PBC to Host ‘Connection Session’ with Pre-Qualified General Contractors and Pre-Approved JOC Firms

WHAT: The Public Building Commission of Chicago (PBC) will host their inaugural ‘Connection Session’ a creative collaboration focusing on connecting the PBC’s talented Pre-Qualified General Contractors and Pre-Approved JOC firms with established or up and coming subcontractors.

WHEN: Thursday, May 2, 2024 | 11:00 – 2:00pm

WHERE: Malcolm X College | 1900 W. Jackson, Chicago, IL 60612

DETAILS: The event will provide updates regarding PBC’s upcoming opportunities, including new and pending work, as well as create a “Connection Session” (speed dating concept) that encourages networking with Minority and Women Business Enterprise Firms, Subcontractors, Vendors, Suppliers, and Assist Agencies.

“By bringing together a diverse range of stakeholders, PBC aims to facilitate meaningful conversations and create avenues for fruitful collaborations,” Ray Giderof, PBC’s Acting Executive Director said. “The expertise and perspective that will gather for this event plays a pivotal role in this unique opportunity for professionals to network, collaborate, discuss opportunities, and explore potential partnerships that can drive mutual success.”
