The Public Building Commission of Chicago (PBC) is excited to announce a new text messaging service to keep contractors and stakeholders informed about upcoming construction or professional service opportunities, important updates and announcements.
In addition to the existing email alert service, text subscribers will receive notifications about opportunities, events, and other critical project information directly to their phones.
“We are committed to improving communication and making notifications more accessible,” Ray Giderof, PBC Executive Director said. “This new text message service ensures that businesses, stakeholders, and the community have access to information about the PBC and its projects.”
By launching this text message alert service, the PBC is making it easier for contractors and stakeholders to stay informed and engaged in the opportunities that help build the city. Offering email and text alerts notifications allows us to communicate with the community on multiple platforms. Subscribers are encouraged to stay informed and never miss an opportunity. “Our email and text alert service allows us to effectively communicate PBC opportunities and information to the community,” Giderof said. “This initiative is another step in expanding our outreach efforts.”
