The project is the latest phase of the Chicago Shoreline Protection Project, a long-term shoreline reconstruction project undertaken by the CDOT, CPD, and the USACE. In conjunction with its partners, the PBC is managing the development of planning, design, procurement, and construction of the project.

“In addition to the team listening and responding to verbal questions, the intent of the previous community meetings was to receive input and discuss project status, including the team’s planning and design efforts,” Ray Giderof, PBC’s Acting Executive Director said. “The intent of this meeting will be to provide an update regarding that community input and those questions.”
