CHICAGO – Golden Boy Promotions proudly announces that the official ceremonial weigh-in for the highly anticipated lightweight showdown between Oscar Duarte and Kenneth Sims Jr. will take place at the historic Richard J. Daley Center Plaza, located in the heart of downtown Chicago.
The event is open to the public and will be held on Friday August 1, 2025 | 12:00p.m., just one day before the fighters step into the ring. The ceremonial weigh-in will be hosted in collaboration with the Public Building Commission of Chicago, which owns and manages the landmark venue.
