Program Management ServicesNew Kennedy-King College Campus
The Public Building Commission of Chicago invites professional construction management firms to submit qualifications for appointment to the Program Management Team for the new Kennedy-King College Campus. The selected Program Management Team will be required to perform necessary professional services in order to coordinate, administer and manage all aspects of construction, and successfully implement procedures to achieve the Project’s goals throughout completion.

Additional Information All exceptions and/or questions reqarding this RFQ must be submitted in writing to the attention of Lourdes Nur, Public Building Commission of Chicago, 66 West Washington, Room 200, Chicago, Illinois, 60602. Questions may also be faxed to 312/744-3572. Written questions or comments must be received by January 16, 2001 at 5 pm.
Pre-Submittal Conference A Pre-Submittal Conference will be held on Friday, January 5, 2001 at 9:30 a.m. in the 2nd Floor Board Room, Richard J. Daley Center, 66 West Washington, Chicago, Illinois 60602. Attendance at the pre-submittal conference is strongly encouraged, as this will be an opportunity to clarify/answer questions regarding the Project and the RFQ. In addition to receiving general and technical information at the Pre-Submittal Conference, those in attendance will be able to exchange business opportunity information with Chicago-area business enterprises M/WBE and non – M/WBEs. For this reason, potential respondents, both MBE/WBE, should bring with them quantities of company literature, business cards, etc. for distribution at the Pre-Submittal Conference. In addition, sufficient respondent personnel should be present in order to maximize effective business contacts.
Due Date and Time for Responses Sealed responses shall be submitted and received no later than 3:00 p.m., Monday, February 5, 2001 at the Public Building Commission, Room 200, Richard J. Daley Center, 66 West Washington, Chicago, Illinois 60602. Failure to submit your response on or before the due date and time may be cause for rejection.
Addenda Any interpretations, corrections, or changes to the RFQ will be made by addenda. Sole issuing authority of addenda shall be vested in the Commission. Addenda will be forwarded by first class mail or facsimile transmittal to all that are known to have received a copy of the RFQ, but the Commission will not gurantee receipt of any addenda mailed to the Proposer. It is the responisibility of the Proposer to inquire as to the issuance of any addenda. Proposers shall acknowlege receipt of all addenda.
