Request for Qualifications
General Construction Work for Schools and Comfort Stations
The PBC is seeking to receive qualifications from General Contractor’s (including firms proposing to have a controlling interest in General Contractor Joint Venture) for the following projects: Schools:
- Brighton Park II Area Elementary School, 2611 West 48th Street
- Gwendolyn Brooks College Prepartory Academy, 250 East 111th Street
Comfort Stations:
- Osterman Beach, 5701 North Lake Shore Drive
- 40th Street Beach, 4101 South Lake Shore Drive
General Contractor’s will need to demonstrate their experience and past performance on comparable public or private construction projects or other projects of similar complexity, size and type with construction costs ranging between for Schools: $20,000,000- $30,000,000.00, and for Comfort Stations with construction costs equal to or greater than $2,000,000.00.Submission Due Date: Qualification Submittals must be delivered by Thursday, August 13, 2009 by 4:00 pm to the attention of Janice Meeks, Public Building Commission of Chicago, Richard J.
