Design Architect for Landscape and Site Design Services – PS1806
The Public Building Commission of Chicago is soliciting qualifications from firms experienced in acting as a Design Architect providing landscape architecture and site development design services for projects such as campus parks, playgrounds and parks developed through the PBC. Landscape Architect firms must demonstrate relevant and recent private/public experience (last 5 years) in the Chicago-land area. The landscape architect and their consultants will be responsible for performing a full range of program-level and project-level landscape architecture and site design services, which may include: landscape and site design peer review, lessons learned and case study management, participation in City of Chicago Landscape Committees, maintaining landscape guidelines and standards, as well as project-level programming, design, bid and award services, construction administration and project close-out services.
Submittals Due: Request for Qualifications must be delivered by Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at 12:00PM to the attention of Gary Bell, Public Building Commission of Chicago, Richard J. Daley Center, 50 W. Washington Street, Room 200, Chicago, IL 60602
Requests for Interpretation: Every request for such interpretation must be made in writing, received no later than Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at 12:00 PM (local time), addressed to the Public Building Commission of Chicago 50 West Washington Street, Chicago, Illinois 60602, Attention: Gary Bell, Contract Officer, and emailed to Gary.Bell@cityofchicago.org. The interpretations, if any, will be issued in writing which, if issued, will be posted below not later than Friday, April 30, 2010 at 2:00 PM (local time). Questions received after April 28, 2010 may be answered at the discretion of the Public Building Commission of Chicago.
