Leslie Lewis School Campus Park

“Beautiful campus parks, such as this, help instill a sense of school pride among our students. We want to create as many reasons as possible to motivate our students to show up for school not only on the first day, but everyday.” Arne Duncan, CPS CEO at the ribbon cutting August 16, 2003.

The new campus park includes:

  • Play area with soft surface
  • Running/Jogging Track
  • 30 New Trees
  • 140 Flowering Shrubs
  • 800 Perennial Flowers
  • Benches and Site Furniture
  • Ornamental Lighting, Fencing and Trash Recepticales
  • Trash Compactor
