PBC Alert 13-024 The Public Building Commission of Chicago is soliciting Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) and Financial Condition from Contractors for construction of an artificial turf field within the block located at the southwest corner of West 23rd Street and Dearborn Avenue (including firms proposing to have a controlling interest in Joint Ventures) to be pre-qualified to bid as a Contractor for the following project: Turf Field at National Teachers Academy West 23rd Street and Dearborn Street Eligible respondents must possess verifiable past experience and demonstrate successful past performance in the construction of comparable public or private projects with construction costs of more than $1,000,000.00 that involved the installation of regulation athletic artificial turf field systems, running tracks, subsurface storm water management, roadway work, and soil remediation adhering to State of Illinois Environmental Protection Agency 35 Adm.
