PBC Alert 10-042 The PBC and Bovis Lend Lease are soliciting qualifications from firms to perform work on the following nine bid packages for the new William Jones College Preparatory High School Project: Earth Retention System (Submittal due 11/3/10); Underground Demolition (Submittal due 11/8/10); Caissons, Chicago Water Tunnel Plug & Fill and Excavation (Submittals due 11/15/10); Waterproofing, Below Grade Plumbing Work, Below Grade Electrical Work and Concrete Foundations (Submittals due 11/22/10). Firms seeking pre-qualification must demonstrate experience on private and public projects of comparable size, scope and complexity and must have at least five years experience performing the work referenced above work in the Chicagoland area. The qualification process will include completing a Bid Pre-Qualification Checklist, completing a Subcontractor/Vendor Pre-Qualification Statement and acknowledgement of review of the site specific Project Procedures Manual.
