Mayor Daley’s Youth Ready Chicago

The Public Building Commission, in partnership with the Chicago Public Schools, invites you to participate in Mayor Daley’s Youth Ready Chicago Program. The Public Building Commission enjoys a long-standing association with the Chicago Public Schools, with the PBC designing and building quality educational facilities. And in keeping with our mission to enhance education for Chicago Public School students, we pledge our support for this important program created to encourage and develop necessary career goals and business skills for Chicago’s youth. Throughout the summer, Mayor Daley””s Youth Ready Chicago Program connects qualified students, ages 14 – 24, with internships, apprenticeships and jobs within Chicago’s public and private business sectors. These opportunities offer students hands-on experience and an opportunity to gain marketable skills, supporting a successful transition from school into the workforce. Information on how to participate in the program for the upcoming summer can be found at https://pbcchicago.com/upload/8135.doc Please take time to review the information and, if interested, complete the registration form https://pbcchicago.com/upload/8136.doc and return to Chicago Public Schools Department of College and Career Preparation. Thank you in advance for your support. Sincerely, Erin Lavin Cabonargi Executive Director
