PBC Alert 16-003 The Public Building Commission of Chicago is hosting a Mandatory Pre-Submission Conference followed by a Contractor Workshop on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 10:00AM. The event will be held at The Renaissance Collaborative (TRC) located at 3757 South Wabash, Chicago, Illinois. The PBC is seeking to qualify General Contractor Classification Types A-E. General Contractor types are established by the Municipal Code of Chicago. Each class is defined by the following not-to-exceed (NTE) project size limits: Class A Class B Class C Class D Class E no limit NTE $10M NTE $5M NTE $2M NTE $500K General Contractors (Class A-E) wishing to submit a response to this request and be pre-qualified under this solicitation are required to attend the Mandatory Pre-Submission Conference. The Pre-Submission Conference entails a cursory review of the intent and submission requirements of the RFQ. The purpose of the Contractor Workshop is to provide submission assistance to firms who have not previously responded to a government agency’s RFQ.
