PBC Alert 15-011 The Public Building Commission of Chicago has invited the 12 firms which have been pre-qualified to bid on Contract C1566a for Dunne Technology Academy Modernization Project at 10845 South Union Avenue. The project consists of interior and exterior renovations along with abatement impacted by the work of the existing 1971 school building. The work will include full replacement of the roofing system, upgrades to existing restrooms, ADA accessible entries to all classrooms and specialty rooms, repairs of the exterior façade concrete, glass replacement of exterior Lexan, refurbishment of existing unit ventilators, and finish upgrades. The project will achieve a minimum LEED for Schools 2009 Certified rating. Sealed bids shall be received at the Public Building Commission, Richard J. Daley Center, 50 West Washington, Room 200, until 11:00 am.
