PBC Alert 15-005 The Public Building Commission of Chicago has invited the 13 firms which have been pre-qualified to bid on Contract C1566 for Dunne Technology Academy Modernization Project at 10845 South Union Avenue. The project includes construction of a one-story Annex with a two-story link to the existing school and includes site development work and renovations of the existing 1971 school building. The program scope for the Annex will include a Science and Pre-Engineering Lab, elementary gymnasium with gym office and storage, unisex toilet, building services, and 2-stop elevator for access between the Annex and existing 1971 school building. Site development scope for the Annex will include a playground, artificial turf field and landscaping. Abatement, Demolition and Remediation of the existing 1952 building on the site will be done under the JOC contract for soil management. Daley Center, 50 West Washington, Room 200, until 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 5, 2015, at which time they will be publicly opened.
