Celebrating the opening day of the “David Bowie Is” exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago. WXRT, Chicago’s Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events, and the MCA present a concert at Daley Plaza featuring the Sons of the Silent Age, the leading David Bowie cover band. Sons of the Silent Age, led by Chris Connelly (ministry and the Revolting Cocks) and Matt Walker (Morrissey and Smashing Pumpkins), honors the music and aesthetic of David Bowie in their impressive selection of songs taken from the eclectic and extensive canon of David Bowie.
