CHICAGO – PBC Board of Commissioners today approved a construction contract award for the Phase II Renovation at William Jones College Prep High School located on the near south side at 606 South State Street.
Phase II Renovation work includes cooling plant upgrades, architectural renovations and mechanical upgrades to the north school facility on the Jones campus.
The PBC is also completing Phase I Renovation work which includes a permanent canopy link to the newly constructed William Jones College Prep High School facility which opened to students this fall. Interior program renovations include a fitness center, locker room, multi-purpose room, student learning center and art room. Exterior renovations, including roof replacement and exterior facade repairs, are also underway.
Construction work on the Phase I and Phase II Renovation work is scheduled to be complete in Spring 2014.
