Science laboratories at Daley College will undergo extensive renovation beginning this spring under a $973,000 contract approved today by the board of the Public Building Commission of Chicago (PBC).
Under a contract with Pacific Construction Services Inc., three science labs on the third floor of Daley College’s main building at 7500 South Pulaski Road will be renovated, Kevin Gujral, PBC executive director, said. The work was expected to begin in May.
The project will replace floors, cabinets, work stations and fume hoods in the three labs, officials said.
Other actions taken Tuesday by the PBC Board, including the appointment of architects and owner’s representatives, are listed on the PBC’s web site at www.pbcchicago.com.
