PBC Alert 09-008 The Public Building Commission has issued Invitations for Bid for three Target Market Programs. The PBC will be accepting sealed bids only from Certified Minority Business Enterprise(s) (MBE) or Women Business Enterprise(s) (WBE) with appropriate specialty area designation for the following projects: Michael Reese Hospital Campus: Rodent Control Services, Michael Reese Hospital Campus: Unarmed Security Guard Services and Michael Reese Hospital Campus: Temporary Fencing Services. Bidders can download the bid solicitations from www.pbcchicago.com or obtain hard copy paper bid solicitations from the PBC’s office located at 50 West Washington Street, Room 200, Chicago, IL 60602. All bidders are responsible for obtaining all bid materials. If a bidder chooses to download and print the bid solicitation document, the bidder must contact the PBC’s Procurement Department by either: faxing a legible copy of bidder’s business card, referencing the Contract number to (312) 744-3572 or by emailing the Senior Contract Officer, Janice Meeks at janicemeeks@cityofchicago.org, to register the bidder’s company as a bid document holder. Mandatory pre-bid meetings for all three invitations will be held Tuesday, June 23, 2009 in room CL115 of Daley Center. Rodent Control Services will be held at 9:30 am; Unarmed Security Guard Services will be held at 10:30 am; and Temporary Chain Link Fencing & Installation Services will be held at 11:30 am. Sealed bids for all three invitations shall be received at the Public Building Commission, Richard J.
