PBC Alert 09-036 The PBC is advertising for qualifications from abatement and demolition; site preparation; and site development Contractors (including firms proposing to have a controlling interest in Joint Ventures) for work utilizing the Job Order Contracting System (JOC). JOC is an indefinite quantity contracting (IQC) method for which Bidders bid an adjustment factor to be applied to the fixed prices in a construction task catalog. The value of individual projects will vary in size up to multi-million dollar projects. The scope may include activities such as abatement and demolition work associated with newly acquired property; remedial soil work related to removing environmental impact or improving geotechnical stability; or site development such as Campus Park improvement project.
