PBC Alert 13-009 The Public Building Commission of Chicago is anticipating a significant amount of summer work and encourages Architects to attend the Self Certification Permit Program Training Class hosted by the City Department of Buildings on April 10-12, 2013. The Self-Certification Permit Program simplifies and shortens the building permit process for eligible project types. The class being held at Malcolm X College is open for both renewing Self-Certified Architects and first time Self-Certified Architects. Please review your renewal date so you do not miss out on this opportunity. Architects are encouraged to verify their self-certification Id Number, because many expired in December.
