PBC to Host Morgan Shoal Revetment Reconstruction Community Meeting

WHAT: The Public Building Commission of Chicago (PBC), and its partners, the Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT), Chicago Park District (CPD)and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), will host an in-person community meeting to provide an update regarding the Morgan Shoal Revetment Reconstruction project. The event aims to enhance understanding of project status, including planning and design efforts.

WHEN: Thursday, February 22, 2024 | 5:30 – 6:30pm

WHERE: Kennicott Park | 4434 S. Lake Park, Chicago, IL 60653

DETAILS: The Morgan Shoal Revetment Reconstruction Project is located along the Lake Michigan Shoreline between 45th and 51st Streets. The project is the latest phase of the Chicago Shoreline Protection Project, a long-term shoreline reconstruction project undertaken by the CDOT, CPD, and the USACE. In conjunction with its partners, the PBC is managing the development of planning, design, procurement, and construction of the Morgan Shoal Revetment Reconstruction Project.
