Phase I & II Renovation and Phase III Demolition & Abatement
The Public Building Commission of Chicago is soliciting Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) and Financial Condition from Contractors (including firms proposing to have a controlling interest in Joint Ventures) to be pre-qualified to bid as a Contractor for the following projects at Chicago Vocational Career Academy High School, 2100 East 87th Street:
- Phase I Renovation
- Phase II Renovation<.li>
- Phase III Demolition and Abatement
Eligible Respondents must possess verifiable past experience and demonstrate successful past performance as a general contractor in the construction of comparable public or private K-12 education projects in the past five (5) years. Verifiable past experience includes, but is not limited to, Respondent’s demonstrated ability to coordinate project activities that involve logistically challenging, renovations and/or demolition and abatement in existing buildings during ongoing school operations under an expedited critical schedule.
Submittals Due: Qualification submittals must be delivered by 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 to the attention of Rusty Castillo, Public Building Commission of Chicago, Richard J. Daley Center, 50 West Washington, Room 200.
